Former Sony and Interscope Records top executive turned marketing mogul Steve Stoute has sold his branded entertainment agency Translation, Consulting and Brand Imaging to the Interpublic Group of companies.

Oprah sells her cable TV channel to NBC in US$925m (£454m) deal

Oprah Winfrey has sold Oxygen, a TV channel where she is a co-founder, to NBC for US$925m. Oxygen Media was set up in 2000 and now accesses some 74m US homes.

Billionaire Bob Johnson Opens Car Dealership

African American Billionaire Robert L. Johnson, founder of the RLJ Companies and Black Entertainment Television, has bought a 51 percent stake in the firm to form the RLJ-McLarty-Landers Automotive Partnership. The group said it intends to build on the portfolio of 12 McLarty-Landers dealerships in the US.
